JOB TITLE:          Professional Big Data Software Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 2900 W. Plano Pkwy. Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES:   Oversee the development of high performance, distribute computing tasks using Big Data technologies, Hadoop, NoSQL, text mining, and other distributed environment technologies. Use Big Data programming languages and technology, write code, complete programming and documentation, and perform testing and debugging of applications. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in analytics and visualization solutions. Use Databricks for complex data engineering work on the Azure platform.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Information Systems and Information Technology or Computer Science and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation overseeing the development of high performance, distributing computing tasks using Big Data technologies, Hadoop, NoSQL, text mining, and other distributed environment technologies; analyzing, designing, programing, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and new products used in analytics and visualization solutions; and using Databricks for complex data engineering work on the Azure platform.
