Responsible for updating and maintaining financial systems. Leads process improvement efforts to enhance the effectiveness, accuracy and performance of financial systems.
Responsibilities include:
Daily volume reporting to leadership team with inputs into quarterly external reporting.
Maintenance and updates of management reporting systems to enhance value, accuracy, and performance.
Reporting includes:
Validating accuracy of volume activity from source systems (gross adds, churn, total subscribers) and attributes including geography, channel, line of business, segment, and device.
Manual entries to ensure that externally reported volumes conform to Financial Reporting Policy.
Interaction with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to explain subscriber results.
Ad hoc reporting/analysis and complex investigations into volume variances to ensure that reporting is accurate.
Master data/hierarchy management to provide summarized views of subscriber activity.
System maintenance includes:
Participation in Finance and IT initiated projects to provide incremental value to reporting and ensure that reporting systems accommodate new products and services.
Provide technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing financial systems.
Act as a liaison to IT for system programming and coding.
Work on all phases of financial systems development and maintenance. May include the design, development, implementation, testing, and ongoing support.
Ensure that client needs are met, projects are completed on time, and that resources are utilized in the most effective manner.
Cross functional training in other areas of financial reporting.
Qualifications:
3+ years' experience acceptable in telecommunications industry with financial reporting and analysis.
Highly motivated with initiative and attention to detail.
Solid time management skills.
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
Application Proficiency
Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Access).
Data Warehousing/SQL including Teradata and Snowflake
Data Visualization including Smartview and PowerBI.
Automation
Teamwork with ability to execute by collaborating across functional boundaries.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to apply sound judgment, create actionable strategies, and achieve results with little direct supervision.
Creative problem-solving capabilities, analytical abilities, and business acumen.
Education: Typically a Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
Supervisory: No.
Our Lead Financial Systems Analyst, earn between $118,800 - $178,200. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
