Conducts data-driven analysis to support inventory, demand and/or supply planning across multiple suppliers and product categories. Develops and distributes monthly product and quantity forecasts for AT&Ts major suppliers, issues purchase orders to suppliers to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and/or distributes inventory nationally/globally to effectively meet variable demand needs.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for execution in one or more of the areas outlined below or directly in support of those activities through project management, data analysis and reporting and/or leading/supporting strategic initiatives.
Forecasting: Collaborates with internal partners to understand capital targets and get high-level engineering guidance to convert program level details into SKU level forecasts. Couples internal partner feedback and detailed quantitative analysis using historical trends, inventory data, demand and purchase planning models etc. to generate SKU level demand and purchase forecasts for suppliers. Prepares monthly forecasts and interfaces with key supplier supply chain contacts to release the forecast and address questions. Collects and analyzes data to produce meaningful reports in support of special projects and requests from partners and AT&T leadership. Performs root cause analysis to identify reason(s) contributing to low Forecast Accuracy. Demonstrates a solid understanding of how the network infrastructure equipment they forecast is deployed and how it is used by AT&Ts customers. Solves highly complex and technical problems for several product categories. Considered as a resource for resolution of unique or complex problems. Acts as forecasting SME. Coaches less experienced forecasters regarding best-in- class forecasting methodologies and techniques.
Supply Chain Planning: Inventory supply/demand management across business units, including management of inventory turnover, customer service levels, stocking decisions, forecasting. Manages PO Creation and Promise date Management. Creates and recommends strategies to maximize the effective management of materials. Assists in the development of long and short- term objectives to ensure that programs and efforts are directed toward achieving company goals; Leads Supplier calls covering PO delivery schedules and addressing areas of concern and improvement relating to equipment availability. Creates and distributes reports including analysis requested or required to manage inventory and orders. Works with AT&T and/or 3rd party warehouses to ensure reuse of equipment returned from Network markets to central distribution center through Lab reuse process.
Market Planning: Supply Chain single point of contact to internal clients on all equipment requirements, forecast exceptions, expedites, order management assistance, metric results, supply and logistics issues, inventory levels, and equipment returns. Assists and coaches markets in managing equipment orders in Oracle order management system to achieve market expectations and order management goals. Management of client order requirements, lead time and need by dates, past due orders, aged inventory and/or IT and systems issues. Creates and distributes reports including analysis requested or required to manage inventory and orders. Coordinates equipment returns from local market warehouses to centralized distribution centers.
Education: Minimum Bachelors degree, Masters degree preferred in supply chain management/operations management, data science/analytics, or engineering.
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in the areas of supply chain management, data science/analytics.
Supervisory: No.
Our Lead Supply Chain Planning Analyst, earns between $105,600.00-$158,400.00 USD Annual in Dallas, TX, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
