This career step requires senior level experience, leveraging a proven mastery of the scrum framework.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The Agile Coach will use their broad Agile experiences and understanding to develop and coach people.
Agile Coaches focus on driving transformation within the organization to enable delivery of the right value at the right time.
They are experts in helping the organization mature their adoption of the agile methodologies, especially the Scrum Framework, and may work at the Portfolio, Program and Team levels.
You will need to be versed in methods of coaching, mentoring, and training along with a strong facilitation background. In addition, you will work with leaders guiding them on decisions towards enabling further agility in the organization.
You will coach the organization to apply enterprise level agility concepts focused on empiricism, flow, and value with a focus on the “why” versus following a standard playbook.
The Agile Coach serves in a coaching/mentoring role. This may include:
Driving Scrum principles, values, behaviors and methodologies throughout the organization by encouraging adoption of a truly Agile mindset
Leading organization on coaching and tactics towards implementing professional scrum-based teams
Coaching and mentoring scrum masters, product owners and developers on their scrum roles
Coaching business product ownership on steps to mature product management discipline
Coaching leadership and managers on their role in a scrum-based organization
Creating engaging training materials using proven techniques such as" Training from the Back of the Room" and/or Liberating Structures on various agile topics
Assisting teams with developing agile value metrics that enable the organization to implement fast feedback loops on the solutions delivered and the process to do so
Providing guidance to the organization on the right level of scrum scaling and options between various industry scaling frameworks to ensure cross-team coordination and servant leadership.
Being a curious learner who realizes there is always more to learn in the agile delivery space
Education: Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
Experience: Typically requires 5-8 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
Supervisory: No.
This position is located in Atlanta, GA. There is No Relocation assistance provided.
Our Lead Agile Coach earn between $128,400 - $192,600 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
