This position is located in Atlanta, GA and requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week. No relocation is offered.

Design, develop/code, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery processes and production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Design, Development and Coding: Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies. (Software Engineers MUST design AND code applications at a minimum.)
Collaboration and Communication: Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
Testing and Debugging: Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting.
Maintenance and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.
Deployment: Facilitate and support the software deployment process.

Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

- Spring Boot with java
- Java 1.8 and above
- Cassandra DB experience
- SQL Server
- Oracle (nice to have)
- Spring data framework (Cassandra, Sql server)
- Public Cloud experience (Azure is preferred)
- Automated unit test frameworks like Junit & mock frameworks
- Kubernetes experience
- Experience with messaging frameworks like JMS, Service Bus, Kafka.

- AGILE development and SCRUM experience
- Understand the concept of a vertical slice story/feature
- Understand the concept of tasking
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Lead Software Engineering earn between $128,400.00 - $192,600.00 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
