Overall Purpose: The Executive Protection Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of high-profile executives and their families. This role involves risk assessment, strategic planning, and the implementation of comprehensive security measures to protect individuals from potential threats. The specialist will work closely with other security personnel, law enforcement agencies, and private security firms to provide a secure environment for the executives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Planning and Execution of Protective Programs: Lead and manage protective services operations, including off-site planning, coordination, and execution of security for visiting dignitaries, executives, and major corporate events.
Risk Assessment and Threat Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments for executives and personnel, identify and mitigate threats, and leverage expertise to deter corporate espionage and enhance security measures during high-level meetings.
Executive and VIP Protection: Ensure the safety and security of executives, their families, visiting dignitaries, and VIP guests, including ground and air transportation, protocol, and personal assistance.
Coordination and Specialized Security: Maintain intra and interagency coordination, oversee specialized security roles such as aircraft and in-flight security, and act as a technical surveillance countermeasures expert.
Leadership, Evaluation, and Equipment Management: Provide leadership to less experienced agents, evaluate and document program effectiveness, and ensure the procurement and installation of security equipment at various executive locations.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
5+ years of related experience.
Certification is required in some areas.
Compensation:
Our Lead Protective Services earn between $116,700 - $175,100 USD annually in Atlanta, GA.
Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
