Job Overview

Job Description:

    AT&T’s Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain (WTSC) Strategy Team focuses on collaborative problem-solving, strategic analysis, and analytical support to directly impact billions of dollars of AT&T’s cost structure and future investments, while driving best-in-class practices across AT&T’s vast supply chain and wireline networks.

    Our Senior Strategy Consultants work in small teams to support and lead projects and craft actionable, innovative recommendations for AT&T’s senior leadership. You’ll analyze the impact of industry trends, emerging technologies, macroeconomic & competitive factors, and third-party supplier spend & engagement.

    You’ll provide:

    • Thought leadership and strategic analysis on fast-paced, complex opportunities and challenges facing AT&T’s Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain organization
    • Fact-based negotiation support, including industry analytics, competitive event strategy, and “should cost” negotiation benchmarking
    • Best-in-class market intelligence including M&A monitoring, supplier financial health assessments, and supply chain visibility to best position AT&T for success
    • Creative, strategic solutions to drive meaningful transformation for AT&T’s operations and cost structure

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience with management consulting, analytics, strategy, or other related experience
    • Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills
    • Ability to provide structured thinking to deconstruct complex problems and help advance strategic initiatives with data-driven solutions
    • Ability to work with multiple sources of data to develop financial and operational models
    • Strong communication (both oral and written) skills and presentation skills
    • Effective leadership and teamwork skills working with cross-functional teams
    • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or another highly strategic/analytical role; ideally with exposure to the telecommunications or technology industries
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a Supply Chain related field
    • Background in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or another highly strategic/analytical role; ideally with exposure to the telecommunications or technology industries
    • Exposure to software, mechanical, and electrical engineering concepts
    • MBA

    This position is located in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA.  Relocation assistance is not available. Sponsorship assistance is not available.

    Our Senior Consultant - Wireline Transformation and Supply Chain Strategy earns in Dallas between: $118,800 - $178,200 USD and in Atlanta between : $106,100 - $159,100 USD, along with all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
