About the Job:

The Product Lead, ServiceNow position will be a key part of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within the Chief Security Office (CSO).  This role demands a professional with both strategic vision and detailed execution skills. The successful candidate will drive the IAM ServiceNow roadmap, aligning it with business goals and evolving organizational needs. Responsibilities include leading strategic planning and stakeholder engagement, collaborating with global teams, and overseeing the entire product development lifecycle.  Effective project management and commitment to quality assurance are essential to ensure timely delivery and high standards for all deliverables.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the ServiceNow platform.  Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.  Develop and maintain a long-term product roadmap that aligns with business goals and stakeholder needs.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders and other business units to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.  Act as the primary point of contact for all IAM ServiceNow-related inquiries and initiatives.  Gather feedback and requirements from customers to inform product decisions.

  • Product Development: Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.  Work closely with the development team to ensure clear understanding of requirements and timely delivery of features.  Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of new features and enhancements.

  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.  Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.  Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

  • Global Team Collaboration: Partner and collaborate with international and diverse teams to ensure seamless day-to-day business operations, effective handovers, and foster a unified team culture.

  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards of quality for all deliverables. Conduct regular reviews and testing to ensure that the platform meets user expectations and complies with best practices.

  • Backlog Management: Continuously manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the latest priorities and requirements.  

  • Feature Prioritization: Prioritize features and tasks for development sprints based on business value, stakeholder input, and resource availability.  Make informed day-to-day decisions to address development challenges and trade-offs.

  • Development Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, provide ongoing clarification, and support the team in overcoming any obstacles.  Ensure alignment between development efforts and strategic goals.

  • Gap Analysis & Enhancement Advocacy: Identify gaps in existing solutions, gather requirements, and collaborate with product architecture and client teams to advocate for necessary enhancements.

  • Technical Support Collaboration: Partner with Engineering Tier 2 / Tier 3 support teams as needed to resolve complex customer issues and ensure seamless operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Product Manager or Product Owner.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, modules, and best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps a plus.

  • Requires Daily Office Presence (5 days a week) at one of the listed locations.

Education: Preferred Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.

Experience: Typically requires 5-8 years’ experience.

Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.

Our Lead Cybersecurity, earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
