About the Job:

This position is a Lead Cyber Security, who supports the SPI Data Protection program in the Data Protection Assurance organization within Cyber Security Organization.

Experience Level: 12+ years

Location: Hyderabad or Bengaluru

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for DB connection management, executing scanning policies, scanning of applications, validating scans, troubleshooting scans, reviewing findings

  • Connect and query to application database, false positive analysis, finalize analysis for quality assurance, create and deliver summary of findings and analysis, generate necessary DBA level of reporting

  • Environment upkeep (DB tasks, server connections, etc.), Generation of change management/support tickets, perform upgrades.

Primary / Mandatory skills:

Overall – 12+ years of IT experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Application and Platform Architecture.

  • 6+ years of cyber security Experience in identifying secrets.

  • 4+ years of Spirion Sensitive Data Management system.

  • Results analysis, and troubleshooting, DevOps practices. 

  • Ability to work with data from several diverse database technologies including Oracle, SQL, Snowflake, DB2, PostGres, MySQL,

  • Proven Application Scanning Skillset

  • General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and/or Gold)

  • Basic Cloud security knowledge for Azure and AWS

  • Database connectivity experience.

  • Proven experience in Vulnerability scan result analysis.

  • Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking.

  • BS of Computer Science and/or Information Systems

Technical Skills: Spirion SDM, SDLC, Database Administration understanding, Information Lifecycle, Database management tools etc.,

Additional information (if any): Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours upon need.

Certification: CSSLP, CISSP or equivalent
