About the Job:

Our Cybersecurity Threats Analyst Platforms and Tools team delivers forward-leaning security solutions that assist in preventing, detecting and responding to internal and external threats.

We are seeking for an experienced technologist in this role will be responsible for leading the design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of new and existing Security monitoring platform components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs.

The professional in this role will also be accountable for supporting Chief Security Office stakeholders in both existing and emerging cybersecurity projects using SNMP and security data.

This professional must be highly organized and able to manage various stakeholder requests as they arise with strong multitasking skills and technical acumen. In addition, the professional must also be able to assist mentor team members in the designated areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of new and existing Security monitoring platform components

• Designing, creating, implementing, and supporting the following areas with open-source and custom designed code:

• Security application management
• Security networks management
• Security systems management 

Required skills:

• Overall – At least 8+ years of experience of software development, engineering, or data analysis experience
• Expert level knowledge in Java, Python, SNMP, JavaScript, Jetty, legacy languages
• Expert level knowledge in Cisco Firewalls, networking equipment, Routers, Firewalls, Industry standard solutions - Proxy, VPN etc.
• Expert level knowledge in Hadoop clusters, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenID Connect, and other security tools
• Experience working in an environment where coordination with multiple teams is essential to success
• Ability to prioritize individual/group work in a high-activity and time-bound environment
• Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours on a need-basis, and as required
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Desirable skills:

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Sciences Engineering
• Broader understanding of Cyber Security
• Data Analytics experience
• Testing, debugging and documentation skills
• Creativity, problem solving and self-awareness
