The selected candidate for this position will be working on the evolution of ANT’s test automation solution architecture, ANT 4G/5G simulators development, and solution delivery. As a Developer the contributor will be developing new features, engaging customers and peers within the AT&T Mobility Core for the purpose of end-to-end test execution, customer engagement, educating or mentoring others; internal stakeholders, peers, team members and supplemental contractor resources.
Drive automation development to solve problems encountered during mobility testing and monitoring in both lab and production.
Seek adoption of automation usage penetration to compress timelines associated with the certification and deployment of new platforms while increasing quality and usability of the team’s tools portfolio.
Work closely with customers to identify requirements, share development plans and manage expectations through periodic status updates, demos and feedback sessions.
Drive clarity into the development and execution of a Test Automation Development Roadmap while supporting the team to deliver with quality, on time and budget.
Drive Architecture and development of AT&T in-house 4G/5G/SIP simulators.
Engage with simulation or device vendors for feature requirements, script development and release road maps.
Adhere and promote the organization’s established Agile approach to software development using existing Scrum and JIRA resources.
Assist in the evolution and sustainment of the team’s software-delivered solutions with an emphasis on the migration towards container-based deployments, Kubernetes and Azure.
Promote test automation adoption within the various internal customer groups. Seek collaboration opportunities through the execution of Proof-of-Concept projects to enhance and expand AT&T’s overall capabilities and test automation portfolio.
Seek to achieve compliance with internal AT&T Chief Security Office (CSO)to ensure developed applications are both robust and secure.
The position will participate in a large team of technical individual subject matter experts and supplemental contractors with an emphasis on usability, re-use, quality and cost.

Experience:
Expert level proficiency in the following:
8+ years of telecom Software Development and Lifecycle Management expertise
Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and 5G Next Generation Core (NGxC) expertise, understanding 3GPP standards/protocols
Virtualization and Public/Private Cloud
Mobility Core Network services: Data, Streaming, VoLTE/VoNR, Messaging, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated technical leadership
Hands-on experiences and troubleshooting capabilities with EPC / NGxC Network Functions and Call flows
5+ Year of Experiences on Linux
8+ Year of C/C++/GoLang programming languages
5+ Year of experience in Python/Bash
Hands-on experiences on Test Tools (Simulation Tool, Real UE Tools)
Advanced knowledge and understanding of 3GPP architectures, IMS call flows and protocols, such as SIP, Diameter, TCP, UDP, HTTP- REST, LDAP, etc.
Familiar with various IMS services and features
Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in architecture. design, testing and deployment of Network Functions on different cloud and virtualization technologies like OpenStack, Containers and Kubernetes.
Familiar with CI/CD automation tasks using Azure DevOps.
Ability to solve complex, critical problems related to significant and unique issues by using extensive research and interpretative thinking.
Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an approved field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited university
