Job Description:

Working Time: EMEA hours (if preferred the US shift is available)

Location: Katowice, Poland or Brno, Czech Republic or Bratislava, Slovakia

Overall Purpose: Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Software Engineer with career-level experience who will be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service. This includes design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting), and maintenance, all with a strong focus on automation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and review software requirements and user stories.

  • Software Design & Specifications: Provide estimates, create software design specifications, and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess hardware and software interactions.

  • Development & Methodologies: Execute specific development methodologies through the application of various programming languages.

  • Automated Testing: Create and execute automated test plans and strategies based on business requirements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, data, and results.

  • Code Implementation & Validation: Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reporting.

  • Comprehensive Testing: Responsibilities may include unit testing, dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and/or user acceptance testing.

  • Application Support: Provide support for applications and solve configuration and environment issues.

  • Deployment Support: Assist in the software deployment process to ensure smooth transitions.

Job Contribution:

  • Experience Level: Technical professional with some experience. You will be expanding your knowledge of AT&T technologies while applying your sound technical knowledge.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated skills in programming (portfolio of real world projects / working experience)

  • Frontend (web) / backend / full stack oriented (web)

  • Experience working in team environment / collaborating on the same codebase

Technologies you'll get to work with:

  • NextJS with Prisma / Drizzle Kit, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn & Figma

  • Go & Python for building APIs and scripts

  • JetBrains IDEs / VSCode

  • MongoDB, Postgres & Clickhouse

  • Azure & Kubernetes

Supervisory:

  • This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Salary:

  • CZE - base salary from 86800 CZK gross/a month. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.
  • PL - base salary from 13800 PLN gross/a month. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.
  • SK - base salary from 2900 EUR gross/a month. The actual salary is based on your skills, experience and knowledge.
