Job Description:

We are seeking to expand our global team with skilled Application Tech Support professionals. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the troubleshooting and maintenance of variety of applications (Inhouse built as well as 3rd party) on multiple platforms and will engage with other teams, application owners, developers, or higher tiers of support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Problem Management/Resolution: Quickly diagnose and fix application, network, and server issues to reduce downtime and ensure high-quality service.

  • Application Change Management and Implementation: Handle and implement changes to applications while adhering to organizational standards and minimizing disruptions.

  • Documentation: Record support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system.

  • Scheduling, Tuning, and Configuration: Manage tasks, tune performance, and configure application and infrastructure components to align with business needs.

What will you bring?

Technical Skills:

  • Linux Administration: Experience with Linux systems as an administrator or in development/deployment.

  • Networking: Understanding of networks at the CCNA level.

  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, with AZ-900 certification being a plus.

  • Programming: Ability to comprehend code, with Shell/Python scripting skills being advantageous.

  • Database: Understanding database concepts (MySQL) and practical experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Troubleshooting: Capable of resolving application and operating system issues in various environments (On-prem, VMWare, Azure).

  • AI Prompting: Ability to create prompts for AI to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Communication and Customer Service:Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.

  • Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Mindset: Technical mindset with logical thinking capabilities.

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in written/spoken English.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree desired in Computer Science.

0-3 years of related experience.

Working hours: standard EMEA

Location: Brno.

We are currently operating in a hybrid-flex working model with preference to be with your team in the office 2-3 times per week.
