Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community by providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

AT&T has an opening for aProject Manager to support the National Security Sector.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of projects on time within budget and scope.
• Overseeing all aspects of projects including managing deadlines, assigning tasks, and monitoring and summarizing progress of project. 
• Working directly with teams, including engineering and operations, as well as with the customer to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
• Collaborating across service areas to ensure coordination of efforts that may impact assigned projects.
• Coordinating assignments of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Developing detailed project plans and monitoring and tracking project progress.
• Measuring project performance using established tools, techniques and standard project management best practices.
• Preparing project status reports for upper management.
• Managing relationships with the client and all project stakeholders.
• Performing risk management measures to minimize project risks.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Coordinating with customers and internal resources for Technical Exchange Meetings geared toward requirement’s definition of the project.
• Collecting and maintaining required documentation repository related to each project assigned.
• Using leadership and negotiation skills for task completion.
• Developing spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years, master’s and 4 years, bachelor’s and 6 years, associates and 8 years or HS diploma and 10 years.

Desired Qualifications:

• Intermediate knowledge of Network IT infrastructure (network connectivity, switches, routers).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated client-facing and internal communications experience.

Our Project Manager (IT/IM/IA Project Integrator Level II) (Government) earns between $98,100 - 140,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
