AT&T has an opening for an Applications Developer to support the day-to-day IT systems for our customized network solution in support of the federal government.
The job duties of the Applications Developer are as follows:
Performs designing, programming, testing and debugging of applications and scripts.
Perform capacity planning, system tuning, problem analysis and hardware/software upgrades.
Develop administrative policies, documentation, and procedures to ensure that applications are properly maintained and operated.
Perform testing and establish system acceptance criteria on new or current hardware and software.
Build service requests from customer requirements, request items, and tasks.
Determine training needs and develop application-based guidelines tailored to the work environment.
Build client profiles and system configurations for software distribution equipment.
Respond to system alerts and engage in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Use workflows to manage data flows from customers to support teams.
Use scripting tools to process automation and perform integration.
Import and export data across various enterprise applications.
Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data.
Monitor the health and status of Enterprise applications and scripts.
Work with IT managers to generate views and reports as needed.
Analyze user requirements and current procedures to improve system capabilities.
Install and configure workstations, servers, printers, and data, voice, or video network components.
Install software releases and maintain data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Consult with clients, hardware and software vendors, users, system administrators, and engineers.
Provide technical support for development, test, and production environments.
Understand ITIL/ITSM processes.
Understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
Must be knowledgeable in the support and development of ServiceNow, Splunk, Nlyte, VMware, Ansible, etc.
Required Clearance: Clearable. Able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph. (#clearable) (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
Required Qualifications: Five (5) years of experience as a Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited College or University, a developer nanodegree, or equivalent work experience, is required.

Our Applications Developer (Government) earns between $80,000 - $180,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
