As an Associate Director-Product Mgmt & Develop, you will be responsible for designing, developing and managing activities for a specific Business or Consumer product/service or group of products/services from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life (lifecycle management), including complex products or product lines. The focus is to help build the next generation of AT&T field operations, IT ecosystem.

These are products and/or services that AT&T sells to residential, small to large business and/or global business customers. Responsible for the business case and P&L for assigned products.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees managers that research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new products or features by translating and documenting customer and technical requirements into final product design

  • Analyze customer needs, identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements

  • Conduct research and analysis on defined market, including addressable revenue potential, competitive analysis, definition of product functionality and existing customer segments, volumes, and revenue results

  • Prepare and present requirements, plans, and business cases for new or modified products and services

  • Partner with business, technology and UX teams to design or modify products to meet market, budget, and schedule specifications

  • Create product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans

  • May be responsible for managing budgets, acquiring estimates and requests for funding through the capital process

  • Serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as the product(s)move to production and distribution.

  • Manage ongoing lifecycle product performance

  • Defines and drives initiatives to grow revenue, margin, and work with the Global Connectivity Management, Technology Development, Contracting, Legal, Product Marketing and Business or Consumer Pricing Team to develop pricing strategies

  • Work with 3rd party technology partners in support of new product development

  • Negotiate with vendors to improve the product cost structure, feature functionality and product support

  • Assigned the most complex products or product lines. Considered a subject matter expert

Required Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in similar area of responsibility required

  • Expertise in Field operations (from the IT side)

Desired Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • SAFe 4.0 or PO/PM Certification preferred

Our Assoc Director-Product Mgmt & Develop, earns between $158,200.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
