As an Associate Director Cybersecurity, you will lead a team of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals dedicated to evaluating and enhancing security for key software and hardware components. Lead a team focused on assessing and testing software and hardware to mitigate cyber risks for AT&T, ensuring that both internally and externally developed applications meet stringent security standards before deployment. You will be responsible for implementing security assessments, developing risk reduction metrics, and providing consulting services throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Roles Responsibilities:
Ensure all internal applications undergo Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and penetration testing (Pentest) prior to release.
Collaborate with Mobile Application Development (MAD) and Chief Operations Unit (COU) teams to ensure secure app publishing.
Offer consulting services during the development phase to integrate security best practices.
Direct external developers to conduct SAST while the CSO performs DAST and Pentest before releasing apps under the AT&T brand.
Implement the COU Application Development Process (ADP) to review Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications used by employees.
Provide specialized security pen testing services for FirstNet applications.
Enhance the Mobile App Testing (MAST) program by improving automation processes.
Develop and monitor metrics to support mobile app risk reduction efforts.
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of cybersecure products and services.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
Preferred Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Cyber Security related fields.
Requires 8-10 years of related experience
5+ years managing a technical team or technical projects.
Proven experience in cybersecurity, particularly in application security testing (SAST, DAST, Pentest).Strong understanding of mobile app development and security.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and consulting skills.
Requires Daily Office Presence in one of the listed locations. No relocation assistance is provided.
Our Associate Director, Cybersecurity earns between $155,400 -$261,100 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
