About the Media Productions Team: The Media Productions team within AT&T is responsible for production studios, control rooms, technology infrastructure, and streaming platforms that support multi-media productions. They handle the ideation, creation, design, and production of all media projects from large-scale webcasts to short video productions, both live and recorded.
Position: A1 Audio Designer
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities and processes that support all levels of audio production.
Collaborate with producers, directors, and other production team members to understand their audio requirements, provide appropriate solutions, and make recommendations for equipment and setup.
Test and troubleshoot audio equipment to ensure proper functionality and sound quality.
Maintain and organize audio equipment inventory.
Support the development and implementation of production plans and budgets.
Be resourceful and have in-depth knowledge of the full scope of the production to assist with resolving problems and roadblocks.
Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively about the media industry.
Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
Dante certification preferred required.
3-5 years of experience working at an entertainment agency, development company, or production company.
Deep knowledge of broadcast audio systems, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, mixers, Yamaha, Dante, and comms systems.
Understanding of media productions, both live and recorded.
Experience with multi-camera field production.
Proven ability to strategically handle multiple projects.
Proficiency with other production roles.
Ability to communicate concisely with external vendors and internal teams and stakeholders, including executive-level leadership.
Salary and Benefits: Our Audio Operator - A1 earns between $87,200.00 - $130,800.00 USD annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
