Supports and executes analysis, research, and solution development to assist executive leadership in setting the strategic direction for the corporation.
This role is based in Dallas TX requiring in-office presence 5 days/week.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis and Research:
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics. Utilize various analytical tools and frameworks (e.g., SWOT, PESTLE) to identify strategic opportunities and threats. This foundational research informs all other strategic decisions and actions.
Financial Modeling and Analysis:
Develop and maintain complex financial models to project future performance, assess potential investments, and evaluate strategic initiatives. Use financial metrics such as discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, ROI calculations, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic recommendations. Accurate financial analysis is crucial for making informed business decisions.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Assist in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan. Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term goals and objectives. Support the implementation of strategic initiatives by coordinating with various business units and tracking progress against strategic goals.
Presentation and Communication:
Prepare and present strategic recommendations, reports, and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders. Create clear and compelling presentation materials that effectively communicate complex information and strategic insights. Effective communication is essential for gaining buy-in and driving strategic initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Coordination:
Serve as a liaison to business unit personnel, soliciting and incorporating feedback into final deliverables. Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing, operations, product development) to ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects and ensure successful execution.
Preferred:
· Experience in telecommunications, technology, or a related industry.
· Background in strategy consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or corporate development.
· Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Job Contribution: An expert in their field, leveraging advanced knowledge to shape company objectives and achieve goals. Leads impactful, wide-scope projects, creatively solving complex problems and developing policy changes. Identifies innovative solutions with significant operational impact. Works autonomously, frequently engaging with senior and executive leaders and serving as a strategic advisor.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or advanced degree desired. 10+ years of related experience.
