About the job:
The Director-Cybersecurity will play a crucial role in the Chief Security Office (CSO) Identity and Access Management team in relation to privileged access management (PAM). This position will provide support for operations related to PAM solutions and activity monitoring including but not limited to vaulting, session management, application integration, secrets management, endpoint privilege management, processes and services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing robust PAM strategies, policies, and procedures.
Conducting regular reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our overall security posture and incident response capabilities.
Leading initiatives to automate PAM processes and streamline operations for efficiency.
Providing subject matter expertise and training to team members on best practices in PAM and privileged activity monitoring.
Qualifications:
Preferred Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security related fields.
Requires 10 or more years of experience in Cybersecurity
5 years of experience managing technical Cybersecurity teams required.
Proven experience in privileged access management, including implementing and managing PAM solutions.
Strong understanding of privileged activity monitoring and its role in detecting and mitigating security incidents.
Expertise in regulatory requirements and industry standards related to PAM (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001,SOX).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
A financial service background is preferred.
2 years of experience with IAM, Risk and Controls
A proven track record of managing large IAM and monitoring programs at a large and complex company.
Must be able to interact with all areas of the business and translate business needs into tactical implementations.
In-depth knowledge of IT controls to ensure that controls and policies are enforced via automated processes.
Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) in Dallas, TX. No relocation assistance is provided.
Our Director Cybersecurity earns between $191,400 - $287,000 USD Annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
