Overall Purpose: Strategically analyze data from diverse sources using advanced predictive modeling, statistics, and trend analysis to drive informed decision-making and optimize business performance.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve various business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions. Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and data warehouse storage (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks Delta Lake). Utilize data sources including internal and external sources, data lakes, and data warehouses such as eCDW, BIDW, etc.
Statistical Methods and Decision Support: Apply advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and use traditional modeling techniques to support decision-making. Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Palantir, Power BI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.
Business Case Development and Analytics Tools: Develop business cases and create complex models using big data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI AI Insights, Databricks) for modeling, process integration, and making recommendations for process, financial, and business model improvements. Build and test predictive models on various data samples and verify their accuracy in real-world scenarios (e.g., Linear/Logistic Regression, Time Series).
Reporting and Business Insights: Develop visualizations such as dashboards, reports, and charts. Advise business partners on data patterns and relationships to recommend strategic directions.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited university in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or Physics. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
Compensation: Our Lead Advanced Analytics professionals earn between $116,700 - $175,100 USD annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
