This role is responsible for helping to advance our corporate Culture & Inclusion strategy and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. The individual in this role serves as one of three Corporate Culture & Inclusion Segment Leads who work with leaders and partners across the business to ensure AT&T has implemented comprehensive strategies to support and advance our multifaceted workforce, ensuring inclusivity and progress for all employees. This function will also serve as subject matter expert for a sub-section of our business segments: AT&T Corporate, Customer-facing (Field Ops, Network Ops, Customer Care, and Retail), and Markets and Transformation (Mass Markets, Mid-Markets, Enterprise Markets, and Wireline Transformation & Supply Chain) business units.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work with leaders and partners across the business to ensure AT&T has focused initiatives and programs that support the interests of employees and their communities across our four culture and inclusion pillars – Employees, Communities, Customers, and Suppliers – and align to business strategy:
- Offer guidance to Employee Groups (EGs) to help them develop and launch programming opportunities for various segments based upon celebration of heritage days/months.
- Perform employee data analysis to forecast trending behaviors and relative performance compared to external market.
- Collaborate with sponsorship leads to maximize benefits and maintain working relationships with relevant sponsors (e.g., Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), Black Enterprise, AISES (Advancing American Indian Science and Engineering Society), (Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics) LEAP, Disability:IN, Out & Equal, and Fair360).
- Attend monthly/quarterly calls with Culture & Inclusion-sponsored organizations.
- Partner with HR colleagues to identify talent to attend sponsored events or participate on panels/talks.
- Provide onsite support and pre-event logistics for Culture & Inclusion-sponsored events.
- Partner with External and Legislative Affairs colleagues on policy or community issues that impact employee segments.
- Partner with Corporate Communications colleagues to ensure segment-specific issues and events are properly amplified for employees.
- Serve as a speaker/panelist on segment-related topics/events.
- Serve as subject matter expert and segment lead for three or more of our AT&T business units supporting the Sales and Operations teams:
- Work with BU leaders and HR business partners to ensure they have focused initiatives and programs that support diverse interests across our four Inclusion pillars – Employees, Communities, Customers, and Suppliers.
- Identify and maintain close relationships with BU Culture & Inclusion Councils and/or Committees.
- Attend town halls and other BU-wide meetings to understand if and how Culture & Inclusion shows up.
- Bring BU strategies and key areas of focus to the Culture & Inclusion team for awareness and education.
- Provide recommendations for BUs on ways to better embed Culture & Inclusion into their operations.
- Work with Culture & Inclusion Data Analytics Lead to understand workforce data and trends for assigned BU segments.
- Provide quarterly readouts to Culture & Inclusion leadership on the state of assigned Culture & Inclusion and business unit segments.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Relationship building skills. Knowing who can help you deliver messaging is key to this role. You cannot do it without knowing the right people.
- Consultative skills: Once you know the right people, you need to be able to ask the right questions and provide appropriate guidance.

- Being open to feedback and able to make adjustments to materials quickly and accurately.
- Challenging the status quo and not being afraid to ask questions even of those above you in the hierarchy.
- Able to interpret complicated information and simplify it for the targeted audience.
- Needs/benefits analysis- understanding the critical needs and shifting priorities for each target audience/segment.
- Provide perspective, and sometimes, levity to the team and projects. This role has a broad view of the organization and company that others may not be privy to.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 – 10 years of consultative experience
- History of experience working both inside and outside of HR is preferable
- Expertise in culture, diversity, and inclusion research
- Demonstrated experience in business operations, with strong operational empathy and the ability to offer valuable insights to improve team performance and drive strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development/Psychology, or related field of study
Our Lead Culture & Inclusion role earns between 105,600.00 - 158,400.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
