Join our Finance team supporting the Tower Strategy organization. This group supports an annual spend of over $4.5B in expense supporting AT&T’s mobility business. We are looking for a strong Lead Financial Analyst who can conduct complex financial analyses and work on diverse problems, including the analysis of financial reports, trends, and opportunities.

Specific job requirements include:
Perform complex data modeling and financial analysis consistent with Lease Accounting Requirements.
Support monthly Tower Strategy organization book close process.
Transaction analysis in support of negotiations with mobility tower vendors, with focus on financial value creation. Over the last five years our team has supported negotiations between our operational partner and the three largest tower vendors. We anticipate these agreements will be updated and/or renegotiated in the future.
Financial management, analytics, and recommendations to help Tower Strategy achieve or exceed financial commitments.
Evaluate and make recommendations related to business opportunities, investments and similar financial projects or programs.
Gather, interpret, and evaluate financial information.
Pursue opportunities to improve monthly book close and reporting processes with automation and efficiencies.
Determine financial impacts for alternative methods, plans and strategies.
Evaluate financial performance including cost or budget administration.
The successful candidate will bring analytical capabilities, innovation, critical thinking, and influence across key focus areas while working with multiple teams and organizations:
Collaboration across multiple organizations (such as finance, operations, long term planning, accounting, etc.) to align assumptions, methods, and procedures.
Partnering with client teams to build outlooks/budgets and tracking/development of key metrics/KPIs.
Coordinating deliverables with the finance consolidations team to deliver reporting and forecasts in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Five or more years’ experience with financial modeling and forecasting using advanced Excel methods.
Five or more years’ experience in traditional accounting and lease accounting.
Knowledge of MR2020 & FDW systems.
Proficiency in data manipulation (Advanced Excel, SQL etc.).
Excellent desktop skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Access).
Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal communications, project management and leadership skills.
Education: Typically a bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Typically requires 5-7 years experience.
Supervisory: No.
Location: Dallas, Texas. Relocation assistance is not available.
Workplace Designation – Office Worker - 3-5 days per week based on the needs of the business.
Our Lead Financial Analysis, earn between $118,800 - $178,200 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
