We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and results-driven Communications & PR Lead Manager with a flair for storytelling. This role primarily supports AT&T’s technology and innovation organization, focusing on AI, The successful candidate will provide communications support our Chief Data Officer and organization. This includes developing blogs, press releases and media pitches to amplify Ask AT&T, our generative AI tool, and position AT&T as a thought leader in the space.
Overall Purpose: Manage and lead complex communications strategies for AT&T’s technology and innovations organization. Responsibilities may include strategic planning, content development, media relations, executive support.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Communications: Develop and execute tactical internal and external communications plans that captivate and inspire various audiences.
Develop and Manage Communications: Write and oversee publication of both internal and external communications, including blogs, press releases, speeches, talking points, LinkedIn copy, and corporate messaging materials.
Pitch Writing and Media Engagement: Develop media pitches and cultivate media relationships. Prepare media backgrounders and key reports.
Monitor Industry News: Maintain an understanding of industry trends and conduct timely research on news coverage, issues, and industry reports affecting the company to inform team decision-making.
Establish Relationships with Business Groups: Foster close relationships with the Business Groups to communicate the company’s vision effectively and creatively to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with Marketing and PR Teams: Work closely with these key partners to manage brand and corporate identity, ensuring a consistent and captivating brand story.
Creative Storytelling: Shape thought leadership platforms, stories, and content, ensuring alignment with our company’s values, priorities, and leadership tone.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
5+ years of related experience.
Certification is required in some areas.
Our Lead Manager Communications & PR, earn between $105,600 - $158,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
