The AT&T Commercialization – Gigapower and Open Access Providers team is seeking a highly skilled Principal Advanced Analytics professional. This role is pivotal in translating complex data into actionable insights, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data analysis, and developing comprehensive reports to drive strategic decisions. Overall Purpose:
Develops marketing and sales opportunities by creating strategic alliances, partnership programs with other companies and creating strategies for expanding distribution.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Implements short and long-term strategies addressing opportunities to sell products through alliances/partnerships and distribution initiatives.
Accountable for the revenue goal for assigned partner.
Negotiates engagement in distribution initiatives and alliances with new partners.
Provides direction for expense management and resource allocation based on market demands.
Engages and influences partners to execute agreement and associated strategy.
Provides ongoing assessment of partner needs, business drivers, and environment to guide ongoing partner development and execution. Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and provides guidance to other personnel.
Addresses the broadest and most complex problems of multiple disciplines within the business unit or division.
Considered an expert within the discipline.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Insight Generation: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for operations, marketing, and sales leadership teams to drive Fiber growth.
Data Integration and Analysis: Combine and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting and analysis.
Spatial Analysis and Map Visualization: Employ spatial analysis techniques to conduct detailed geographic mapping of fiber build polygons, green addresses, and sales distribution locations supporting strategic planning and operations execution.
Reporting and Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track and present key performance indicators (KPIs) related Fiber build, field/technician operations, and sales performance.
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of Gigapower and Open Access Providers, including build, penetration, and sales results.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional AT&T and third-party open access provider teams to ensure data-driven decisions align with business goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred Education: Master’s degree from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.
Experience: Typically requires 8-10 years’ experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on translating data into actionable business insights.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in data analysis and reporting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of fiber build processes, GIS or sales distribution mapping, and the telecommunications industry is a plus.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Education: Typically requires a bachelors degree.
Experience: Typically requires 6+ years of experience in similar area of responsibility.

Earn between $143,800 - $215,800 USD Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
