Job Description:

As the Lead Marketing Communications Manager, you will be supporting the crafting of the integrated paid media strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of the AT&T Internet media plans across all channels. The role partners closely with AT&T’s media agency of record and internal AT&T media / marketing stakeholders to design the best in class media strategy and investment plans beginning with a powerful brief and following all the way through to execution and performance analytics.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of the AT&T Internet Media Plan development, management and execution
  • Be the performance media expert, effectively communicating and promoting successful performance media strategies, technological advantages, processes, platform execution, trading techniques, and industry-related topics
  • Consistent and actionable performance analysis and reporting to both improve the media plan performance and to clearly communicate plan performance to AT&T media / marketing executive leadership
  • Ensuring media plans are informed by data, insights and analytics – leverage this in media plan creation and day-to-day media optimizations
  • Leading and collaborating with business unit and agency partners to ensure marketing and promotional plans are brought to life in media execution
  • Media landscape expertise and relationship building

Core Competencies:

  • 5+ years of experience in Media, Advertising, Digital Strategy, or Marketing within an agency or marketing-driven organization
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a proven track record of success
  • Expert in Performance media execution and optimization
  • Management of large scale Media Investments and Agency resources
  • Marketing Science / Analytics background with ability to review, understand and present plan performance
  • Superior ability to tell compelling stories through excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong project management skills
  • Ability to make informed, data driven decisions quickly and with confidence
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.
  • Strong relationship builder with a collaborative, inclusive working style
  • Thrive in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment and can adapt to shifting priorities.

  • Education: Typically, Bachelor of Arts degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Typically, 5 - 8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Supervisory: No.

This position is located in El Segundo, CA & Dallas, TX and requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week.  No relocation is offered.

Our Lead Marketing Communications earn between $118,800.00 - $178,200.00 of TSR.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
