Job Description:

POSITION: Lead Member of Technical Staff

LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas TX 75202 (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home)

DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a Lead Member of Technical Staff in Dallas TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) to develop and certify Layer 1-4 technologies on multiple vendor hardware and software platforms based on customized or generic design. Identify and define software and hardware problems and develop viable solutions and alternatives. Utilize system utilities and automation to effectively resolve hardware and software problems. Work closely with Hardware and Software vendors to identify and fix bugs and perform detail root cause analysis and bug validation in certification lab environment. Provide ongoing support to operation partners, in case of production issue actively collaborate with Operations to replicate the issue in lab and actively get involved and work with vendor to get the fix for production issue. Design, certify, and identify the issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issues. Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, administer, monitor, and maintain various network operating systems, associated software, virtual management systems, servers, networking, clustering, storage, and software applications for Architectures supporting a variety of virtualization technologies. Utilize P Routing Protocols: MLPS, BGP, MP-BGP, BGP-LU, BGP-UC, EVPN, Static, OSPF, ISIS, RSVP, Multicast, Vlan, RIP, FIB, L2/L3-VPNs, SNMP, and Telemetry. Utilize VNFs, KVM and VMware. Utilize containerization platforms including OpenStack, Heat templates, Docker and Kubernetes. Utilize DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, influxdb, Git and Jira. Utilize Python, Shell, TCL, Perl, and Selenium automation.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing P Routing Protocols: MLPS, BGP, MP-BGP, BGP-LU, BGP-UC, EVPN, Static, OSPF, ISIS, RSVP, Multicast, Vlan, RIP, FIB, L2/L3-VPNs, SNMP, and Telemetry; utilizing VNFs, KVM and VMware; utilizing containerization platforms including OpenStack, Heat templates, Docker and Kubernetes; utilizing DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, influxdb, Git and Jira; and utilizing Python, Shell, TCL, Perl, and Selenium automation.

Our Lead Member of Technical Staffs earn between $175,000 - $275,900 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
