In this role, you will manage adoption of Marketing & Growth Organization playbooks and guidelines into all parts of the company, operationalize the marketing programs, and work to embed core tenets of our Marketing Charter through scaled efforts to build company-wide adoption of best-in-class marketing across AT&T.
The candidate will spearhead Workfront enablement and support inclusive of streamlining our marketing operations through the effective use of Workfront, development of marketing operations reporting and analytics to drive the adoption of new processes and tools across our organization. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that our marketing team and partners embrace and effectively utilize new solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
The ideal candidate would be considered a subject matter expert in marketing fundamentals and have experience in driving change through strategic process implementation. They should be grounded in data driven decision making, marketing resource management implementation strategy and continuous improvement and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Process development and integration
- Collaborate with marketing teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements for Workfront.
- Develop and document detailed business requirements and process flows for marketing operations.
- Ensure that Workfront configurations align with the business requirements and support the overall marketing strategy.
- Lead the implementation of new processes and procedures within Workfront, ensuring seamless integration and adoption by marketing teams.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency withing our Marketing Process. Support marketing functions with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create the governance, standards, and adoption of marketing efficiency analytics and operations excellence priorities; partner with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and leverage of best practices; take strategic and proactive responsibility to understand the marketing value chain and campaign development process and identify opportunities to drive decision making with robust data-driven evidence
- Work with data analysts to implement, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track and monitor key marketing process efficiency indicators
- Oversee the integration of data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
- Conduct regular data audits to maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Leadership:
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on progress and impact.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and support for change initiatives.
- Facilitate feedback loops to continuously improve change management and training efforts.
Industry Expertise:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management, preferably within a marketing environment.
- Experience driving process improvements through data across multiple marketing functions
- Strong understanding of the next-generation marketing trends and MRM solutions
- Operational governance that include operations process, embracing design, planning, control, performance improvement, and operations strategy.
Functional Expertise:
- 5+ years of experience with MRM and data visualization tools
- 5+ years of direct experience in consumer and/or business facing marketing organizations
- 5+ years of direct experience in managing marketing operations at large organizations
- Experience driving performance improvement through process and skills optimization
- Experience in engaging cross-functional working partnerships
Operational Expertise:
- Experience in managing processes related to marketing value chain and ongoing process optimization
- Strength in facilitating alignment across multiple stakeholders
- Experience developing process to track and manage process performance KPI’s

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is typical.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in marketing and marketing operations, change management, or a related field.
Location: Dallas, TX (Must be able to work out of our office location minimum 5 days per week)
Our Lead Marketing Manager earns between $130,700 - $196,100 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
