The Principal Advanced Analytics position analyzes data from multiple sources including data lakes, internal/external data, data warehouses, etc. Uses geospatial analytics, trend analysis, statistics, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the appropriate data to be analyzed to explain or predict behavior, solve a variety of business problems, and build business cases. Requires principal level Geographic Information Systems experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for business case development, big data analytics modeling using tools (Ex: including but not limited to: ESRI, Precisely, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Azure, Alteryx etc.), and business process integration.
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of geospatial data to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions.
Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size, and verifies the model in the real world.
Quantifies significance of data variances, applies an array of statistical methods ranging from traditional to newly developing within the Big Data space.
Uses traditional modeling techniques to build models that support decision making.
Develops maps, ops dashboards, reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings.
Advises business partners about patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.

7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
Education:
Master's degree (MS/MA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.
Our Principal Advanced Analytics, earn between $143,800.00 - $215,800.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
