Overview:
AT&T is seeking a dynamic and experienced communications expert who combines business acumen with excellent storytelling and imagery to deliver integrated communications plans and content that inspire a call to action.
As a Principal Technical Business Manager, you will be responsible to design, develop, and implement high-impact organizational, executive and corporate-wide communications plans that effectively communicate to specific audiences in support of the TORque organization and aligned enterprise initiatives. Planning may involve identifying communications tasks across the journey, understanding the target audience and cultural landscape, identifying the appropriate channels and tactics based on how creative and media best come together, executing the plan and measuring its performance and effectiveness.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and direct internal communication strategy, planning and distribution to advance the teams’ strategic initiatives.
Primarily provide strategic communication counsel to leadership in the TORque organization and Change Leadership Initiative.
Develop plans and execute communications via multiple channels (SharePoint, MS Teams, newsletters, video, articles, social media posts) to increase employees’ knowledge of strategies and team accomplishments, amplify our cultural pillars, and inspire employee learning and engagement.
Manage speaking engagements, compile agendas, develop content, scripts/talking points, and run-of-show for workshops and organizational events, manage broadcast logistics with production team and drive attendance via email and website.
Must maintain a high-level understanding of industry trends, as well as the company’s priorities, issues and news to ensure effective communications planning and execution.
Collaborate effectively and efficiently with peers at all levels across business units.
Skills/apps: PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, Viva Engage, Office 365 apps, and AT&T video platforms.
Required experience:
At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
Superior writing, editing and organizational skills. Experience communicating with senior leadership to provide council and recommendations on key initiatives.
Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
Our Principal Technical Business Managers earn between $130,700.000 - $196,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
