This job requires special approval from the Compensation job family owner. Researches and demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the relationship between technology (current and future) and the rest of ATTs business through understanding of one or more key technology domains (IT, network connectivity, media/content technology, etc.)
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
-Responsible for leveraging strong wireless network deployment knowledge and technical evaluation skills, including the ability to interpret disparate, complex information into a range of alternate futures for tower infrastructure needs (i.e. scenario planning, capacity and space planning).
-Utilizes research skills, work cross-functionally with various business units and quickly evaluates competitive and industry dynamics with respect to (technical and economic) impacts by new and different technology/technologies/spectrum on cell towers. Leverages standard corporate strategy frameworks and applies analysis from a technical perspective.
-Integrates both technical and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions. Distills core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of key decisions and conclusions.
-Demonstrates confidence and poise in presenting hypotheses, conclusions and recommendations to senior management.
Job Contribution:
Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.
Education:
Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Typically requires 8-10 years experience in wireless or telecom industry. Well-versed in RF engineering and Site Acquisition domain. Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.

Our Principal Technology Strategy earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
