DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a Professional-Software Engineer in Dallas, TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support and maintenance with a focus on automation. Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers/architects, clients, etc. to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Responsible dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Support the software deployment process. Subject matter expert in software defined networking, understand and identify SDN workflows and provide the necessary fixes. Design and develop ArgoCD CI/CD pipelines for the given business requirements. Integrate ADO pipeline with Terraform for automating the business requirements. Utilize Azure, Open stack, Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, DevOps, Helm, Jenkins, Chef, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana and Ansible. Utilize REST APIs and SOAP UI API. Utilize GitHub and Code cloud. Utilize Elastic Search and Splunk. Utilize Cassandra and MySQL. Utilize Argo CD, CI/CD, SDN (Software defined Networks), LINUX, and Chef.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Applied Science and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Azure, Open stack, Kubernetes, AKS, Docker, DevOps, Helm, Jenkins, Chef, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana and Ansible; utilizing REST APIs and SOAP UI API; utilizing GitHub and Code cloud; utilizing Elastic Search and Splunk; utilizing Cassandra and MySQL; and utilizing Argo CD, CI/CD, SDN (Software defined Networks), LINUX, and Chef.
