Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Professional Systems Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Professional Systems Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to support quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects by validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Responsible for designing and implementing test plans and strategies, writing and executing test cases, identifying and creating defects, and managing them through final resolution. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test execution and coverage. Work closely with business stakeholders, development, and architects across teams to identify the high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinates the testing efforts. Analyze test results and metrics and prepare and present test status reports on a regular basis. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies (scheduled and ad hoc meetings, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily/weekly progress reports, and defect metrics collections). Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production validation. Work on test planning and test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds, and UI components. Apply experience with SCRUM/Agile and DevOps methodology. Work with mobile application testing for iOS and Android. Apply understanding of multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model, and on-prem/cloud integration. Apply working knowledge of database and ability to write basic sql queries. Utilize monitoring tools including Kibana (ELK logs), Dynatrace, and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, or Electronic Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation working on test planning and test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds, and UI components; applying experience with SCRUM/Agile and DevOps methodology; working with mobile application testing for iOS and Android; applying understanding of multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model, and on-prem/cloud integration; working knowledge of database and ability to write basic sql queries; and utilizing monitoring tools including Kibana (ELK logs), Dynatrace, and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.

Our Professional Systems Engineers earn between $134,000 - $210,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
