Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Senior-Advanced Analytics
JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St, Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
DUTIES: Perform market-level analytics to uncover new trends and opportunities and provide insights that help optimize and drive growth across our broadband portfolio. Take large quantities of customer data and analytic results and condense to develop key insights that will tell a coherent story with clear, easy to follow conclusions to make actionable recommendations by our team and partner teams. Apply experience across the full spectrum of business analytics including problem identification, data sourcing/wrangling, query development, data exploration, augmentation data visualization with hands-on data analysis and strategic thinking skills. Work closely with key partners to perform root-cause, statistical, and other data-analysis techniques to build an advantaged understanding of valuable segments, market opportunities, competitive landscape, and key performance metrics while improving the quality and impact of the market-level battleplans. Lead large, complex, cross-functional analytics projects that may span across multiple business units, and analytics teams. Advise business partners and leadership with regards to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes. Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of data, both large and small, to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions on customer behavior and inform business decisions using SQL. Review data on propensity to buy, customer segmentation, market behaviors and dynamics, sales quality, media performance, offer effectiveness, price elasticity, and customer experience. Perform analysis on quantitative and qualitative data, including A/B test analysis using test and control groups to provide insights and recommendations to stimulate action across AT&T Broadband and Fiber. Work with teams to access a variety of complex data, analyze and understand hyper-local competitive and marketplace dynamics, and deliver insight that improves disconnect trends and create business cases to drive action. Quantify significance of data variances applying an array of statistical methods. Perform analyses using test and control concepts. Develop reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings. Advise business partners with regards to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes. Analyze customer behavior, market performance and sales trends using analytics and BI tools including SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI. Collect, clean, and connect marketing campaign data seamlessly using SQL and BI Tools. Transform complex analyses into clear, easy-to-understand “storytelling” presentations with high impact visualizations that transform data into insights. Effectively manage and balance priorities for long-term projects and short-term ad-hoc requests. Apply sales analytics, customers insights, research methods, structured analysis, sampling techniques. Prioritize, organize, analyze and summarize data from multiple sources with a demonstrated ability to translate into actionable recommendations. Apply understanding of internal business segment or stakeholders and strong presentation skills.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Information Systems and 1 Year of experience in the job offered or 1 Year of experience in a related occupation gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships and trigger points to make predictions on customer behavior and informing business decisions using SQL; applying sales analytics, customers insights, research methods, structured analysis, and sampling techniques; applying experience across the full spectrum of business analytics including problem identification, data sourcing/wrangling, query development, data exploration, augmentation data visualization with hands-on data analysis and strategic thinking skills; analyzing customer behavior, market performance and sales trends using analytics and BI tools including SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI; collecting, cleaning, and connecting marketing campaign data seamlessly using SQL and BI Tools; transforming complex analyses into clear, easy-to-understand “storytelling” presentations with high impact visualizations that transform data into insights using Excel and PPT; and managing and balancing priorities for long-term projects and short-term ad-hoc requests.
Our Seniors-Advanced Analytics earn between $136,538- $210,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
