DUTIES: Develop, and certify Layer 1-4 technologies on multiple vendor hardware and software platforms based on customized or generic design. Identify and define software and hardware problems and develop viable solutions and alternatives. Use system utilities and automation to effectively resolve hardware and software problems. Work closely with Hardware and Software vendor(s) to identify and fix bugs and perform detail root cause analysis and bug validation in certification lab environment. Provide ongoing support to operation partners, in case of production issue actively collaborate with Operations to replicate the issue in lab and actively get involved and work with vendor to get the fix for production issue. Design, certify, and identify the issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issues. Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, administer, monitor, and maintain various Network operating systems, associated software, virtual management systems, servers, networking, clustering, storage, and software applications for Architectures supporting a variety of virtualization technologies. utilizing Virtualized Network functions Technologies: (VNFs, KVM and VMware) and containerization platforms including OpenStack, Heat templates, Docker, and Kubernetes; using DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, influxdb, Git and Jira; utilizing programming languages for Scripting including Shell, TCL, Python, and PERL; writing testing scripts using Selenium automation; and employing Multivendor platforms (Cisco IOS and IOS-XR platforms, Cisco CRS, Cisco ASR 9000 series platforms).
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Virtualized Network functions Technologies (VNFs, KVM and VMware) and containerization platforms including OpenStack, Heat templates, Docker, and Kubernetes; using DevOps tools: Ansible, Jenkins, influxdb, Git and Jira; utilizing programming languages for Scripting including Shell, TCL, Python, and PERL; writing testing scripts using Selenium automation; and employing Multivendor platforms (Cisco IOS and IOS-XR platforms, Cisco CRS, Cisco ASR 9000 series platforms).
