DUTIES: Support quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects, validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Design and implement test plans and strategies, writing and executing test cases, identifying and creating defects and managing them through final resolution. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test execution and coverage. Work closely with business stakeholders, development and architects across teams to identify the high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinates the testing efforts. Analyze test results and metrics, prepare and present test status reports on a regular basis. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies (scheduled and ad hoc meetings, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily/weekly progress reports, defect metrics collections). Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production validation. Use test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints (API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds, UI components). Utilize SCRUM / Agile, DevOps methodology. Work with mobile application testing for iOS and Android. Use multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model and on-prem/cloud integration. Utilize database, ability to write basic sql queries. Utilize monitoring tools including Kibana (ELK logs), Dynatrace and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation using test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints (API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds, UI components); utilizing SCRUM / Agile, DevOps methodology; working with mobile application testing for iOS and Android; using multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model and on-prem/cloud integration; utilizing database, ability to write basic sql queries; and utilizing monitoring tools including Kibana (ELK logs), Dynatrace and QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.
