Provides training to crew members so they can operate systems in flight, including airborne telecommunication systems, cabin management systems, and in-flight entertainment /data networks used by executive passengers.
Must keep abreast of emerging technical developments, regulatory requirements, and initiatives in the field in order to keep the department aircraft compliant for global travel, and will attend recurrent training to maintain proficiency.
Provide technical expertise in company aircraft, focusing on avionics systems, troubleshooting, and modifications.
Coordinate avionics work orders, including scheduling, and quality control.
Work closely with the DOM, Maintenance team, and other department managers to ensure on-time project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Perform FAA paperwork, including work orders, and compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, staying organized, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of work quality.
Collaborate with the flight department teams to support projects and customer requests.
Actively participate in avionics/connectivity industry committee meetings.
Occasionally travel as required to support company aircraft and events.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in business aviation activities, with hands-on expertise in avionics systems.
FAA certifications such as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License are required, along with relevant aviation training.
Strong familiarity with avionics systems (e.g., flight controls, navigation, communication, radar, connectivity) and system troubleshooting.
Proficient in project management, with a strong focus on time management, scheduling, and multi-tasking.
Extensive experience in customer service, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Familiarity with FAA regulations and compliance, as well as work order processing and maintenance tracking systems such as CAMP.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to resolve complex avionics issues quickly and efficiently.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in routine physical tasks such as walking, bending, squatting, and working in varying environments (e.g., hangars, office).
Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
Must be comfortable with independent decision-making and working under minimal supervision.
Adaptability to work in both an office environment and hands-on aircraft environment, with fluctuating temperatures.
