Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer with strong UI/UX skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI, while ensuring an intuitive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Integrate data from various sources and build data models.
- Create DAX queries and functions to enhance report functionalities.
UI/UX Design:
- Apply UI/UX principles to create engaging, user-friendly, and visually appealing dashboards.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve the user experience.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new reports and dashboards.
Data Analysis and Visualization:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Use data visualization best practices to present data in an easily understandable format.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills and experience.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., PBI,Tableau, Qlik).
- Experience with SQL, Snowsql and database management.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Certification in Power BI or UX Design is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
