The candidate should have minimum of 3-7 years of working experience in handling highly scalable and available Cloud Server Infrastructure Environment. The candidate should be ready to work in rotation shifts in 24*7 manner.
The candidate Should have excellent trouble-shooting and analytical skills in Systems Administration of Linux, Virtualization, Cloud, OpenStack and Kubernetes environment. The candidate should be well versed with concepts like High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, shared resources, container orchestration etc.
Closely work with various teams like Network, Storage, Deployment, ORT, development and any other teams and work towards resolution of Day-to-day operational issues.
Co-ordination with OS vendors, Development Teams, Production Support teams for Root Cause Analysis, making configuration changes as may be required.
Monitor the Faults and performance of AT&T Cloud Server Infrastructure, and take corrective actions as may be required, to resolve and restore the issues/ services.
Monitor the Environment (like Server Inlet Temperatures, Power Supply redundancy), and engage the teams, to ensure that AT&T Cloud Server Infrastructure is operating in desired environment conditions
Create, Review, Approve and implement changes in AT&T Cloud Server Infrastructure.
Co-ordination with Hardware vendors (Dell, HP) for faulty Hardware replacement.
Create Call to Works, engage right teams, and bring up the infrastructure and restore the Services, in case of outages or where Services are degraded or experiencing service issues.
Should have very good working experience on Linux based operating systems like RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS.
Should have very good working experience on OpenStack Services like Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon.
Should have very good working experience on Hypervisors and Virtualization, like KVM and ESXi
Should have very good working experience on Operations and maintenance of Container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
Certification in Systems Administration of Linux, Open Stack and Kubernetes is preferable.
Should have very high level of Customer Focus, to provide effortless Customer Experience. Should display a positive attitude while working with various peers/ customers / clients/ vendors etc. Should be able to work across diverse teams across various regions/cultures.
Should have strong analytical/logical/problem solving skills.
The candidate should have high level of Co-ordination and Communication skills (verbal and written).
Education Qualification: Engineering/ Graduation/ Equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications.
