AT&T has an opening for a Network Engineer to support Public Sector Solutions.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, and/or evaluates hardware, software and other network related problems.
Provide technical expertise for performance and/or configuration of the enclave networks and systems.
Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
Familiarity with Cisco IOS, F5 BIG-IP, Palo Alto hardware and software a plus.
Schedules, coordinates and executes firmware upgrades and hardware migrations.
Coordinates with all responsible users and external orgs to resolve network or system incidents.
Familiarity with the AWS cloud environment, in particular EC2 and VPC.
Familiarity with configuring DNS BIND.
Familiarity with running common commands in Linux OS.
Familiarity with scripting and automation, particularly Ansible, is a plus.
DoD 8570 Compliance with IAT level 1 is required (SEC+ or A+ or Network+)
Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related discipline, and six (6) years experience applying fundamental skills and concepts using established procedures and standard practices to work problems or limited scope based on detailed instructions from the supervisor or instructor. An additional nine (9) years or an Associate’s Degree with seven (7) additional years may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.

Our Network Engineer (CNE2) (Government) earns between $89,200 - $200,970 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
