We are seeking a skilled Data Integration and Business Intelligence Specialist to collaborate directly with clients and business analysts to define and document data requirements. The successful candidate will determine and document data mapping rules for transferring complex data between applications, while adhering to data administration standards. Responsibilities include data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications like data warehouses and data marts.
Key duties involve creating and maintaining processes and tools, extracting and analyzing data to produce insightful reports, and resolving data issues across platforms. The role includes creating and populating metadata repositories, developing data models (e.g., entity-relationship, star, dimensional), and working with DBAs to transition logical models to physical implementations.
The ideal candidate may use data mining techniques to synchronize data, eliminate redundancy, identify sources, reconcile data, and conduct root cause analysis. They will ensure quality control, audit databases, resolve data problems, and analyze system changes for quality assurance. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Data Collection and Processing: Gather, preprocess, and cleanse data from various sources to ensure it is accurate and ready for analysis.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze data using statistical methods to identify trends and insights, creating reports and recommendations for business decisions.
Reporting and Visualization: Create clear, factual/precise, and compelling data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Discrepancy Resolution and Quality Assurance: Identify, resolve, and ensure the accuracy of data discrepancies across platforms, maintaining data reliability through quality control and auditing.
Analytical Tools: Includes SQL, PowerBI, Python, etc.

An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies.
Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions.
Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science, Math, etc.
7+ years of related experience.
Certification is required in some areas.
Our Principal Data Analysis, earn between $128,400 - $192,600. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
