About the Job:
We are seeking a Director of Digital Identity for the Workforce to lead the strategy, implementation, and management of digital identity solutions across the organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing identity and access management (IAM) systems, ensuring secure and compliant access for employees, contractors, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IAM, a strong understanding of workforce management, and experience working within a complex telecom environment. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in security, compliance, and user experience, while aligning digital identity initiatives with the company’s broader strategic goals.
Desired Skills: • Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD) • Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and NIST • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive digital transformation projects • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their IAM solutions • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of working with C-suite executives and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience leading technical projects or a team
5-7 years of leadership experience working with large organizations
This position typically has Associate Director Cyber Security and other Cyber Security direct reports.
Education:
Preferred Masters degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security related fields.
Experience:
10 or more years experience in technology field

Our Director-Cybersecurity, earns between $191,400.00-$287,200.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
