Key Responsibilities:
Apply engineering principles and practices in broad areas of complex technical project work that require in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise.
Provide technical expertise within project teams.
Communicate and provide documentation for issues identified to both vendor and internal teams.
Represent the group internally across the company to provide functional and technical leadership and externally to submit vendor feature requests.
Develop Test Cases based on Architecture and Requirements documents.
Execute Test Cases based on test plans.
Automate existing test cases currently executed manually.
Review Method of Procedures (MOPs) documents.
Document all defects found during testing.
Work with third-party vendors as needed to help gather information required to resolve defects.
Participate in document reviews including Test Plans, MOPs, Architecture, and Requirement documents.
Support prplOS migrations.
Provide operational support and monitoring of the LCL Lab in Plano.
Education:
PhD in an approved field with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in an approved field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in an approved field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Qualiifications:
Candidates must have expert or advanced level experience with the following:
Proven experience working with Turquois and prplOS.
Through knowledge of operation of Residential Gateways and how to certify them.
Working knowledge of current ATT RGs and supported features.
Working knowledge of the LCL certification lab and the end-to-end environment.
Routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and PIM
IPv4, Dual-Stack, native IPv6, GRE, IPSEC
XPON, GPON, and xDSL
Broadband Standards such as TR-069, TR-098, TR-104, TR-181, TR-369
Security standards
Element Management Systems (EMS)
Scripting languages like Python and test automation frameworks like Robot.
Our Principal Member of Technical Staff, earns between $180,200.00 - $270,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
