AT&T has an opening for a Lead Strategic Account Manager III for State of Ohio State, Local, and Education customers.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Individual contributor that owns strategy and builds account relationship across multiple levels and lines of business in a customer organization and develops strategic initiatives to grow and retain revenue stream of assigned customer list
Able to effectively influence customers and diffuse potential problems/concerns, works with internal partners and the broader account team to align customer priorities and deliverables while ensuring customer satisfaction
Responsible for meeting revenue and customer satisfaction objectives, and product/service/solution objectives in a defined area
Demonstrates the broad knowledge of business, industry and product lines that is necessary to propose solutions that solve unique and highly complex business needs
Leads when presenting products/services to existing or prospective customers and can hold technical conversations and align customer needs to internal solutions.
Directs internal teams to identify and resolve customer issues and to design and propose solutions
Managers customers in Salesforce and creates Support Requests in Salesforce/ROME for pricing, design, and contracts
Builds and develops account plans and sales forecasts (SLIC/RMT) and manages accounts receivable objectives
Leads customer engagement activities including customer governance meetings, executive positioning, and AT&T sponsored events
Engages client lifecycle support with appropriate team resources including portal adoption, billing discrepancies, expedites, escalations, contract management, project implementation
Works escalations as needed to ensure customers needs are being met
Position with top level customer contacts to drive relationship and sales opportunities
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the telecommunications or technology industry.
Strong understanding technology, applications, and solutions.
Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in prospecting and lead generation techniques.
Knowledge onboarding processes is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a sales or sales support role. Strongly Prefer experience in Public Sector and First Net
Work Environment:
This role may require travel to customer sites and sales events.
Flexibility to work in various settings, including office, remote, and field environments.
Hours may vary based on customer needs and public safety responsibilities to assist during emergencies

Our Lead Strategic Account Manager III's earn a base salary between $94,100.00 - $141,100 + commission with a total target compensation of $164,100 -$211,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
