As a Sr. Specialist Data Center Mgmt, you will be responsible for applying organizational practices to resolve moderately difficult problems. Works with independent judgement on expansive projects with minimal supervision, implementing policy changes to improve functions. Actions impact efficiency costs, schedules and client relationships. Interacts primarily within the department and with General Managers and above across various teams.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Installation and Maintenance:
Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the installation, rearrangement, and de-installation of data center hardware and infrastructure, covering hardware, software maintenance, and technical space facilities
Problem Resolution and Restoral Leadership:
Lead problem resolution, monitor performance, and develop recommendations to prevent future issues, with specific roles in restoral leadership for multi-element problems
Architectural Solutions and Resource Management:
Determine architectural solutions, ensure resource availability, capacity planning, resource allocation, and data management, with a focus on design, develop, document, and analyze system architecture
24x7 Support and Incident Management:
Continuous support and responsiveness to problem situations, including disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and participation in incident reports and emergency planning
Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including change management, business clients, application support, and technical subject matter experts, while also managing team leadership and vendor relations
Provide expert guidance and manage all operational aspects of data center and technical space services, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability in both onsite and virtual environments
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of related experience
Certification is required in some areas
Some regional travel required
Desired Education:
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
Our Sr. Specialist Data Center Mgmt earn between $85,700 - $128,500 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
