AT&T has an opening to fill an Onsite Support Specialist position located in Washington, DC.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Homeland Enterprise Information Technology Secure Services & Support (HEITS) for the continual operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN).
AT&T is seeking a broadly experienced candidate to provide Tier 1 and 2 support for multiple domains with users locally and remotely, with excellent communication skills and the ability to support VIP and VVIP customers. This position will work with Active Directory and Exchange to create/modify/terminate accounts, as well as troubleshoot workstation, printers, and other peripheral devices. Additional responsibilities include imaging, installing, and configuring workstations and troubleshooting Windows 10 and above and Microsoft Office suite. Candidate should be interested in learning new technology and providing support to the user community.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Communicating and interfacing with customers and Leidos Site Lead on issues and daily tasking
Providing Tier 1 and 2 support for multiple domains with users locally and remotely
Working with Active Directory and Exchange to create, modify and terminate accounts
Troubleshooting workstation, printers, and other peripheral devices
Imaging, installing, and configuring workstations
Troubleshooting Windows 10 and above, as well as Microsoft Office suite
Working with automated Help Desk tools such as Microsoft System Center and ServiceNow
Troubleshooting Citrix desktop visualization environment and thin client

Required Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience will be considered. Additional years of experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills and able to work in a professional environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI
Ability to work rotating shifts
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Desired Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
DHS or other government contract experience
Experience working with Secureview.
Understanding of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS)
Comfortable discussing technical information with users and other support personnel
Ability to quickly learn new systems and IT concepts
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work autonomously as well as an integral member of a team
Our Onsite Support Specialist's earn between $87,000-$142,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
