Office Presence:Minimum of 5 days per week (No relocation offered)
Overview: Responsible for managing and overseeing the logistics unit in the performance of order placement and tracking, receiving, stocking, selecting, packing, shipping, and supplier performance management.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervision: Directly supervise logistics personnel in a Union environment.
Entrepreneurial Approach: Drive business and operations with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Teamwork: Demonstrate strong teamwork abilities, moving fluidly through operations to support all business areas.
Influence Management: Ability to manage and influence others in a matrix environment who may not directly report to you.
Performance Metrics: Establish goals and maintain records to measure productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Communicate effectively with senior leaders and operational levels.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Oracle WMS Systems, Workday, INFOR, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint preferred.
Analytical Skills: Analyze raw data and convert it into actionable tasks to drive improvement within your operation.
System Utilization: Use mechanized systems to provide balance, accuracy, create efficiencies in report data, track costs, and maintain budget analysis.
Team Development: Develop rapport with the team to select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation.
Problem Solving: Work on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors and problem-solving.
Coordination: May also coordinate the collection and delivery of company supplies and media.
Judgment: Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate actions.
HR Decisions: Influence decisions regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
Union Experience: Previous experience working with Union employees is a plus.
Career Planning: Responsible for subordinate’s career planning, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Education:
Preferred: 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent: Supervisory experience of 5-10 years in lieu of degree.
Experience:
Preferred: 5 years' experience in Logistics with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Driving:
Must hold a United States Issued Valid Driver’s License
Compensation:
Our Manager-Logistics earn between $77,800.00 - $116,800.00 USD annually. Starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
