Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer         

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Pkwy. Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES: Responsible for the design and development of various initiatives for the customer and employee digital experience across consumer distribution channels. Lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Design modular and scalable web components. Lead large cross-organizational software development projects. Utilize Web and Microservice technologies. Design and develop cross-functional and multi-platform application systems. Track and record the progress of projects. Use Agile methodologies. Partner with leads, engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs of systems based on priority. Write code for automated testing and validation. Perform engineering activities for web performance tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support. Complete web markup using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Work on client-side and server-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks utilizing jQuery and React. Create server-side renderings using Next.js. Apply advanced knowledge of JavaScript pre-processing and packaging frameworks including Babel and Webpack. Use Java, Node.js, Microservice, and Full Stack. Apply SEO principles including web analytics and ensure that applications will adhere to them.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation designing modular and scalable web components; utilizing Web and Microservice technologies; designing and developing cross-functional and multi-platform application systems; using Agile methodologies; writing code for automated testing and validation; completing web markup using React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript; working on client-side and server-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks utilizing jQuery and React; creating server-side renderings using Next.js; applying advanced knowledge of JavaScript pre-processing and packaging frameworks including Babel and Webpack; and using Java, Node.js, Microservice, and Full Stack. 

Our Senior Software Engineers earn between $150,075 - $215,800 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
