Overall Purpose: Responsible for working closely with attorneys to provide legal guidance in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and achieve organizational objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring they align with relevant laws and regulations, legal standards, and organizational policies.
Legal Risk Management: Identifying potential legal risks in contract terms and conditions, providing strategic advice to mitigate these risks while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with attorneys and internal departments, such as procurement, marketing, business and retail sales, consumer, and finance, to facilitate the contract process and ensure all business needs and objectives are met.
Policy Development and Implementation: Developing, implementing, and maintaining playbooks and contracting policies and procedures to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across the organization.
NDAs and LOAs: Primary responsibility for non-disclosure agreements and letters of authority.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
