AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Platform Management: Overseeing the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of cyber defense platforms and tools used within the CYOC.
System Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of various cybersecurity technologies, such as SIEM systems, threat intelligence platforms, and security automation tools.
Infrastructure Support: Providing advanced support for the underlying infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems, to ensure high availability and performance of cybersecurity operations.
Automation and Scripting: Developing and implementing automation scripts and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of cybersecurity platforms to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
Security Compliance: Ensuring that all platforms and systems comply with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Incident Response Support: Providing technical expertise and support during cybersecurity incidents, including forensic analysis and system recovery.
Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for platforms, configurations, procedures, and processes.

Required Qualifications:
Cybersecurity Technologies: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity platforms and tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence solutions.
System Administration: Proficiency in system administration tasks for both Windows and Unix/Linux environments, including configuration, patch management, and troubleshooting.
Scripting and Automation: Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine tasks and processes.
Network Knowledge: Understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security measures to support the cyber defense infrastructure.
Senior-Level Experience: Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on cybersecurity platforms and systems.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware) would be advantageous.
Project Management: Experience in managing projects related to the deployment and optimization of cybersecurity technologies.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and improve system performance.

Familiarity with US STRATCOM Network & IT Operations
Familiarity with US Air Force Network & IT Operations
Our Senior Cyber Operations Center Platform Engineer's earn between
$78,800 - $170,980. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
